Bass & vocals for Rural Route 4, free-lance bassist for other country and polka bands

Plays electric bass as well as the Tuba.  Bob has been in instrumental and vocal music since grade school, transitioning from piano lessons to French horn through high school and the local Junior Symphony, and falling to a new low (pitch-wise) - picking up the Tuba after marrying a pretty good acccordian player!   At the same time, Bob was singing acapella choir, in the local barbershop chorus and in several quartets, having competed in three different International Chorus contests.  He has worked with the Sadowsky Dakota Homelanders polka band, Lyle Hileman's Little German Band, and The Ridgeland Dutchmen (the "Concertina Kid"), Sam's Country Polka Gems, and more.
