Chuck Webb on the 1212 Light:

"The 1212 light cabinet is without a doubt the best all around bass cabinet I've ever played
through! I used it on three very different gigs this weekend and it excelled in
every situation.

Gig #1: outdoor concert on a big stage w/ major sound reinforcement.
In these situations I would usually use at least a 4x10 but this time I
set up just the 1212 on the drum riser (see inclosed picture). The
cabinet gave me plenty of presence and volume in that critical area 3
to 15 feet in front of the speaker and reasonable coverage to either
side with only a small amount of bass in the monitors for the other
musicians. The low end was unbelievably full and the highs were crisp
without harshness (it made my new favorite "pimped out" Jazz Bass sound
perfect on stage).

Gig #2: Medium size club w/5 piece funk band. The 1212 filled the room
with supportive lows and still allowed the snap of the maple neck Jazz
to cut through some LOUD percussion and guitar. I never felt like I
was pushing the cabinet anywhere near it's limits!

Gig #3: Casual society gig in a hotel ballroom. Early evening we did
soft dinner music and the cabinet was very refined and clear sounding
for some bass/guitar duos and some solo bass. Later in the evening
(after the drinks were flowing) during the obligatory Motown/disco set
I was able to get plenty of booty shaking bottom without any bass in
the PA.

By the way, I smiled every time I had to pick the cabinet up. This
thing is light as a feather.

All in all I can't remember having this much fun with a piece of bass
gear.

This cabinet is a masterpiece!"
