I've never been so able to hear myself so well, so that after the first few notes I had lo lighten the touch of my right hand to let the other musicians could hear themselves.
The sound was very deep, I only changed the pick ups balance from both p.u. to bridge, in single coil mode, to change the sound from deep (for jazz-bossa nova tunes) to funkier and punchier for faster-more aggressive tunes. In every case I've had the luxury to hear myself very well, the sound was what I was asking for with my hands. So the cab is a winner. The keyboard player was sitting right of the cab, and he heard every note I played (even errors...), at the low volume I was playing at. The lows were filling the room, but without booming, and in a clear way that allows listener to hear actual notes, not rumble...
